The theme for Row By Row 2018 was “Sew Musical”. We designed our block, with the help of Susan Teece of Bent Pin Creations, based on the sounds of the orca whales located in our local ocean. Echolocation is the process of using reflected sound waves to hunt for food, detect objects and communicate. Orcas use this technique, producing sounds that are quite musical. To find out more on how we arrived at this design, check out our blog post.
