Description

Sometimes called raw silk, silk noile is made from very short silk fibers. When these short fibers are spun into yarns, the resulting yarns have occasional slubs and loose ends giving this fabric its nubby texture.  It has a medium crisp hand yet a soft drape, perfect for casual to dressy separates.  Dark colours can fade or streak if washed, so dry clean to retain the rich colour. Noile breathes in hot climates, so great for travel.

Dry cleaning recommended especially for dark colours.  If you wish to machine wash gentle in cold water and hang to dry, please test with a sample first.  Make sure to use a non-bleach soap, such as Eucalan, as bleach will break down the silk fibres.
