Love working with fabric? And sharing your knowledge with like-minded individuals?

We are looking for a reliable, strong and hard working individual to join our team. You must be comfortable working on your feet all day and be able to lift and move fabric rolls and bolts weighing up to 50lbs using proper lifting techniques.

We are looking for a positive, detail orientated individual who has an interest in sewing as you will be discussing and analysing customer projects for suitable fabrics. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work with our existing team to maintain a warm and friendly shopping environment.

Other duties include measuring and cutting of fabric and trims, organizing and updating inventory, receiving and stocking new shipments, operating point of sale. Training will be provided.

We offer extended health, dental and disability benefits after 3 months of working to employees who work a minimum 20hrs per week.
We do not work on commission. Gala Fabrics is a small business dedicated to customer care.
