Tencel is another addition to our eco-friendly fabric collection. With a sueded finish, this woven fabric has a soft drapey hand appropriate for a shirt or full pants.

This fabric has a very cotton hand to it. It does soften a bit with increased washings just like cotton. Crisp drape, nice weight for men’s shirts, men or women’s pants, summer jacket. Perfect fabric for those who are eco-conscience.

A perfect fabric for those who are eco-conscience, this textile is organic, sustainable and low-impact dyed. It would make a great soft shirt for both man and woman or a flowy dress. 	Seativa 75% cotton, 25% seacell 138cm wide/54” wide $39.90/m Cdn colours: black (shown), white	A beautiful soft and almost silky fabric. A little lighter weight, more a cotton batiste weight but not a cotton lawn. Perfect for anyone who has sensitive skin as this fabric facilitates the exchange of the nutrients naturally found in seaweed. (The idea to incorporate seaweed into textiles was inspired by its health promoting nature. The fiber that resulted from this idea was Seacell - a cellulosic fiber with incorporated active substances of seaweed. First, a cellulose based fiber is produced using the eco-friendly Lyocell process. The resulting fiber then serves as the supporting material for the seaweed. ) Calcium, magnesium, amino acids and vitamins are released by body moisture when the fabric is worn. Sea-Tiva fabrics are also breathable and soft. Here are the care tips for Sea-Tiva Cotton: · Hand wash or dry clean · Line dry· Warm iron if necessary · Only non-chlorine bleach when needed

This textile has been combined with Chitosan (a natural biomass made from crab and shrimp shells)to create an absorbent, breathable, durable, fast drying, soft, static-free, wrinkle-free, pill resistant fabric. As well, it has natural and durable anti-bacterial properties so your finished garment stays fresh and odor free. A popular fabric for sports wear or yoga wear. Even great for travel as it requires minimal care. Machine wash and dry.

A luxurious fabric that can be used either side. Satin side if you want the sheen for something dressy (grad dress anyone?) or the matte side for something a little more casual.
